Dr. Sunil Dhawan is Board Certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He has been a Principal Investigator for over 22 years and worked on over 180 trials.
Experience
Dr. Sunil Dhawan has been in private practice at the Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery, Inc. since 1990, where he is President of the Group. He cofounded the Center for Dermatology Clinical Research Inc. with Anchal Dhawan in 2003. It is now the largest dermatology clinical research center in Northern California, having completed 180 trials.
Founder
The Center has experience in phase 1-4 trials, in acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, tinea pedis, onychomycosis, pruritus, seborrheic dermatitis, toxins and fillers, lasers, etc. We have done topical, systemic, biologic, and device trials. Dr. Dhawan has been the PI on all these trials, and has the unique ability to help publish these results in peer reviewed journals like JAAD, JAMA Dermatology, etc.

He has also consulted with pharmaceutical companies on protocol design, product development, CRO and investigator selection, and strategy.
